Nellosana grandis

A large nanoselline, reaching 0.88 mm in length. The color is pale reddish-yellow, and the body form is robust yet long and narrow (Johnson, 1982).
The mesosternal process lacks the longitudinal carina that is present in other members of Nellosana.
The species ccurs in New Zealand (Auckland), and is known to inhabit "rotted ground plants" and litter of Gahnia setifolia (sword grass).
